Why this update matters
The OLsA website has grown into a complete alumni engagement platform that supports public visitors, members, administrators, and system operators in one integrated experience.
What the platform currently delivers
- Alumni lifecycle: registration, review, approval, and member profile linkage.
- Membership workflows: enrollment, pricing settings, and discount-code support.
- Events: event publishing, registrations, coupon validation, and check-in tools.
- Payments: multi-gateway integration (Stripe, SSLCommerz, bKash, eKpay).
- Fundraising: public campaigns, donation capture, and admin reporting/export.
- Content layer: blog, categories/tags, notices, and editable policy pages.
- Operations: role-permission governance, backup/restore, and system dashboard.
Governance and security model
The platform enforces authentication, verification checks, and route-level role permissions. This keeps sensitive admin and system modules protected while ensuring transparent public access to non-sensitive features.
Operational readiness
With backup/restore tooling, transaction ledger support, and system status/log visibility, the application is now much easier to operate in production and troubleshoot when needed.
What’s next
Near-term improvements include richer analytics, deeper audit trails, notification enhancements, and additional UX polish in selected admin workflows.
